UNION STATION HERITAGE INTERPRETATION

Union Station: Heritage Interpretation

Toronto, Canada

Union Station is Canada's busiest transportation hub and a landmark historic building in downtown Toronto. Designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1975, the station has been undergoing a major revitalization since 2019, enhancing its role as a key center for transportation, retail, and culture.

In collaboration with Lord Cultural Resources, we contributed to the development of the 2020 Heritage Interpretive Plan as part of the larger revitalization project. As part of a design/build partnership with Anex Works, we helped restore and create six historic display windows, originally part of the station, each showcasing a unique interpretive theme. We even played a hands-on role in the building and installation process.
